All these Lakes are the result of the glacier metamorphosis experimented by the region million years ago.
Different indigenous races inhabited Pantagonia thousand of years ago before the arrival of the Spaniards. Their culture was not advanced and this is the reason why we find only a few traces of these people, funeral deposits, cave paintings, and stone or shell work areas.
